Wexford is an unincorporated community spread across the boundaries of four municipalities: McCandless, Franklin Park, Pine and Marshall. Sometimes confusing for newcomers, the area that we all refer to as Wexford is really a collection of neighborhoods and a shopping district designated by only a zip code!
Despite it’s unusual structure, Wexford was named one of the best places to reside in America (Best Places to Live 2005,CNN Money Time Warner. Retrieved 17 December 2017). Wexford is well-developed along Route 19, and includes miles of local businesses, car dealerships, big-box stores and restaurants.
North Allegheny High School is located here, as is the Pine-Richland High School, Marshall Middle School, Wexford Elementary and Vincentian Academy (a private school).
